Send
The SEND command posts a message you have created for immediate delivery.
If you prefer, You can classify your message: to do this, type 'no' in
response to the SEND? prompt, and then type 'SEND' followed by your
delivery option(s) enclosed in parentheses.
SEND (URGENT)
Places the message at the top of the recipient's scan table, with
an urgent flag.
SEND (PRIVATE)
Requires the recipient to enter his personal ID before he is allowed
to read the message.
SEND (REGISTERED)
Requires the recipient to acknowledge receipt of the message before
he is allowed to read it.
SEND (RECEIPT)
When the recipient receives the message, the system will send you a
system notification of the date and time received.
SEND [MESSAGENAME]
Posts the message previously created and saved in your saved area
as [MESSAGENAME].
SEND (ON [DATE/TIME])
Posts the message for delivery on the specified date and/or time
in your command. You must enclose your delivery specification in
parentheses.
SEND (AFTER [DATE/TIME])
Posts the message for delivery as soon as possible after the
specified date and/or time.
SEND (EVERY [TIME PERIOD])
Posts the message for repeated delivery according to the time
specification in your command. The time period you select can be
any number of hours, days, weeks, months, or years. For example,
SEND (EVERY 3 WEEKS). You can optionally specify the number of
times you wish the repitition to occur; for example,
SEND (EVERY 4 DAYS 12 TIMES). You must enclose your delivery
specification in parentheses.
